Sketch III - Screenprint

Sketch is a bold, monochromatic, single colour hand pulled screen print.

The design is based upon sketches that I made from observations of Cornish studio pottery and the Sgraffito markings on ceramics from the mid century era.

I sketched and overlayed pen and ink marks to create the composition for this print. It retains a very hand drawn look, with the pen and ink marks still visible.

This print is B2 (500 x 700mm) and is the third in my sketch series of prints. It is printed onto a beautifully textured 310gsm Southbank Coarse paper.

It was designed and hand screen printed by me in my London studio.
